School-Community Partnerships
School-community partnerships link local businesses and community organizations with individual schools in a mutually beneficial relationship. The core of these relationships promotes cooperation between educators and community organizations to work for what’s best for students.
The objectives of the School-community Partnership Program are:
- To provide a better understanding of the education system
- To establish a strong relationship between the business community and the schools
- To supplement classroom activity with real-world learning experiences
- To bring community members and business people into the schools to lend expertise in a meaningful way to lead students to a better understanding of how to prepare for success in life
