Anson PBIS

What is PBIS?

  • PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. PBIS focuses on providing school wide proactive strategies to create a positive environment for all kids.  At Anson we teach our students to be Respectful, to be Responsible and to be Active Learners. Our students are taught these expectations through lessons and lead by example of other students and staff.

Positive Tickets:

  • Your students can receive PBIS Stars for showing they are:

    • Respectful

    • Responsible

    • An Active Learner

  • Each Month there is a drawing for students in each homeroom that get recognized for Student of the Month.

PBIS Assemblies:

  • Every quarter we have a PBIS celebration by holding an assembly. We draw names from the tickets from each homeroom. Those students spin a wheel and win a prize for their whole class to receive. We also review the three expectations we have at Anson Elementary.
