The Tremont is recognizing Marshalltown High School students with perfect attendance with a free meal.

Owners J.P. and Jennifer Howard say they understand the importance of punctuality and attendance, especially in their work with their restaurant.

“It’s really important to have dependable people,” J.P. Howard said. “It means something to show up.”

Wednesday afternoon 28 students were recognized for perfect third quarter attendance. Next Wednesday another group will be recognized, with 85 students total receiving meal vouchers.
