Meningitis Vaccine Requirement for 2017-18
Attention all incoming 7th and 12th graders!!! The new meningitis vaccine requirement will go into effect for the 2017-18 school year. All 7th and 12th graders are required to have the vaccine prior to the first day of school. Please check with your health care provider to confirm that you are up to date. The school nurses have audited vaccine records and several students have not complied at this point. Students will be not be allowed to attend school if they do not fulfill the requirement as this is a state law. Marshall County Public Health has the vaccine for students that qualify for VFC vaccines and local clinics have the vaccine in stock.
