Family Wellbeing Night & presentation series
Bobcat Parent Wellbeing presentation series 2022-23
The Bobcat Parent Wellness Night and Watch Party was a success! Thank you to the 100+ families who joined us at MHS and virtually to see the first of six presentations focused on student mental and emotional health. If you weren't able to join us live for the first presentation – "Your Child's Anxiety" – you can watch a recording here: https://cookcenter.info/MarshalltownDec14Replay. The password to access the recording has been shared with MCSD parents/guardians via Infinite Campus Messenger – please check your inbox for that info.
The next presentation – “Emotional Regulation: Recognizing What's Wrong” – is set for Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 5 p.m. Please register for that presentation here: https://cookcenter.info/MarshalltownJan18
The schedule for all five of our upcoming presentations can be seen below. We hope you can join us for these informative and helpful presentations! For questions about our webinar series with ParentGuidance.org, please email Director of Special Services Matt Cretsinger at email@example.com.
The Marshalltown CSD is excited to partner with ParentGuidance.org on this monthly series of presentations, each centered on student mental and emotional health. The presentations are developed by licensed therapists and will cover important student mental and emotional health topics, including anxiety, depression, emotional management, social media challenges, and more. All presentations will be available in both English and Spanish. The presentations are provided virtually, so you can enjoy them wherever you are!
ParentGuidance.org also provides free lessons, guides, and resources to support parents in addressing their child's mental and emotional health needs – to access those features, create a free account today!
