Marshalltown Community School District will host a question and answer session about the proposed athletic conference change on Wednesday, July 9, 12-1pm, in the MCSD Board Room at 1002 S. 3rd Ave.
On June 25 the School Board was presented with a proposal to leave the CIML and form a new athletic conference with the five high schools in Des Moines Public Schools, Indianola, and Ottumwa. On July 9 MHS Activities Director Craig Huegel will be available to explain what this means and doesn’t mean for Marshalltown’s athletics and activities.
Community members are invited to come at any time during the session, as it will be an informal meeting.
