Happy May Day!
Marshalltown Special Olympics Polar Plunge! Students can bring money in this week to vote for a grade level. Whichever grade raises the most money can decide who has to plunge! Jars are set up in the Main office. Join in the fun!
Come watch an MMS teacher get drenched in icy water at the Polar Plunge event this Thursday! The spectacle will take place at 1:30 in the auditorium. To attend, students must purchase a ticket for 25 points from the PBIS store ahead of time following these procedures:
Tickets must be purchased from the online PBIS store no later than 3:30 on Wednesday. Students will not be able to purchase a ticket after this time.
After purchase, students will need to pick up their physical ticket from the library during morning WIN on Thursday.
At 1:30 on Thursday, WIN teachers will allow students with a ticket to leave class to attend this event.
Miller Football Announcement: Any 7th grader interested in playing tackle football there will be a headstart camp at Lenihan Intermediate School on May 4th and May 18th from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon. You will need to bring a water bottle, comfortable clothes, and clean shoes. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Butler at mbutler@marshalltown.k12.ia.us.
Any 7th or 8th Grade volleyball players interested in attending open gym here are the dates. May 4, 18, 25 Time is 12:30-3:00 These open gyms will be held at MHS. We hope to see you there!
There will be a player/parent meeting on Monday, May 5th in the Miller gymnasium for anyone that is interested in playing football at Miller next fall. 7th Grade players/parents: 6pm and 8th Grade players/parents: 6:30pm See you there! MMS Coaches
MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS GOLF: Sign-up THIS WEEK either Wednesday morning from 8:00-8:20 a.m. or Friday morning from 8:00-8:20 a.m. in Room 371 with Mr. Johnson.
