Child Nutrition Program

The Child Nutrition Program offers nutritious breakfasts and lunches at every Marshalltown Community School District building. Proper nutrition is fundalmental for the success of academic programs.

Our meals meet the USDA Nutrition Standards, which requires the following:

The new requirements build on the work we have already been doing to provide more fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthier main dishes in our cafeterias. Now is a great time for students to choose school lunch! Check out the “Meal Requirements” tab to learn more.

MCSD Summer Feeding Program

June 9 – July 25 (except July 4)
Monday through Friday
11:00 am – 12:15 pm

Free meals will be served to students 18 or younger at the sites listed below. No names, residency, enrollment, or qualifying are needed. Sorry but there will not be meals available for adults. MSFS is an equal opportunity provider.

Anson Elementary 1016 South 3rd Avenue - Enter through the East door.
Franklin Elementary 1315 West Main - Enter through the North gym doors.
Rogers Elementary 406 Summit Street - Enter through the South door to the gym.
J.C. Hoglan Elementary 2306 South 3rd Avenue - Enter through the South double doors to the cafeteria.
Woodbury Elementary 8 North 7th Avenue – Enter through the main doors.
Miller Middle School – 125 S 11th Street – Enter through West double doors.
YMCA/YWCA 108 Washington Street – Enter the front door of the Cultural Center Building.
Salvation Army 107 West State Street (11:00 – 12:00 only) - Enter through the back door, facing the alley.
St. Francis - 310 Columbus Drive. Enter through the double doors on Columbus Drive.
