Our District offers a 1:1 ratio of Chromebooks to students. Preschool through 1st graders have touch screen Chromebooks to enhance their experience with Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum. These students also are given QR code badges through Classlink for easy sign in until they are more prepared to memorize the ID number and password. Students from 5th to 12th grade have permission to bring their Chromebooks home for the purpose of completing homework or engaging in additional work. Chromebooks that are taken home come equipped with a rugged Gum Drop case to help keep it protected in case of a fall or drop. GoGuardian enables us to ensure students’ safety by restricting their access to inappropriate websites.

Teacher & Staff Devices

Each teacher is given an HP laptop for instruction. Epson projectors in every standard classroom and teachers are given Hue cameras to be able to project a open text book or a worksheet easily.

Future Items

By 2023-2024 school year, Lenihan and the High School will have Audio Enhancement installed in each classroom. This system allows the teachers be heard around the room through a mic and speaker system. Additionally, there will be wireless projecting options in more than half of our schools and more to come in upcoming years. This allows the teacher to run the projector from anywhere in the classroom.
