About our preschool program
Marshalltown Schools are pleased to be part of the statewide voluntary preschool program.
The district houses the program at Anson Elementary, Hoglan Elementary, Franklin Elementary, Woodbury Elementary, Rogers Elementary and a community preschool, St. Paul’s in a partnership to foster the love of learning for as many children as possible. In 2012-2013 Fisher Elementary will add preschool classes.
Classes meet weekdays mornings 8:30-11:10 a.m. or afternoons 12:30-3:10 p.m. (12:30-2:10 on Wednesdays).
Children must be 4 years old before Sept. 15. Classrooms consists of typical peers and children with special needs. All teachers are certified in Early Childhood and Special Education. Para educators, a Bilingual Tutor, Speech-Language Pathologists and others provide on-site support.

Breakfast is provided for am classes. The program follows the same calendar as Marshalltown schools. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from preschool.
