MHS grad writes book about military service: Smith served in Iraq, Afghanistan

With 17 years of U.S. Army service including deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Sgt. First Class Kristina Smith has plenty of experiences to share.

She has been able to share some of these in a recently-published book, “The Ultimate Deployment Guide: Insight into a Deployed Soldier and Guide for the First-Time Deployed.” She wrote with the book along with Paul Smith (no relation).
