Hoglan students organize donated food items for the Emergency Food Box.
Hoglan students and staff collected 1,031 items for the Emergency Food Box recently, more than doubling the 500-item challenge put forth by the school’s parent/teacher organization.
Team Hoglan charged the school with collecting 500 items between Nov. 11 and Nov. 22, promising a cookie treat for the class that collected the most. Students and staff easily doubled that goal, with Mrs. Graglia’s fourth grade collecting the most of any class (155 items).
