Hundreds of MCSD employees receive COVID-19 vaccine

Lenihan’s Angie Lovell receives her COVID-19 vaccine Thursday

Staff members from across the Marshalltown Community School District received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose Thursday and Friday, bringing a new level of protection against the spread of the coronavirus.

District Nurse Stacey Tool-Crawford and Hy-Vee Pharmacist Jamie Stalzer teamed up to give hundreds of vaccinations this week. After receiving their dose, each employee was monitored for 15 minutes before returning to their day; District-wide, the process was simple, easy, and efficient.
