MHS student Min Lin won first place in the 2012 VFW and Ladies Auxiliary Patriotic Art Competition in Marshall County.
Min Lin’s artwork will advance to the state contest. MHS student Jose Avina won second place for his drawing. The students will be honored at a VFW dinner in May, where they will receive certificates and monetary awards.
MHS art teachers are Kirk Niehouse, Josh Russell, and Julie Bousum.
