In the midst of a seemingly endless winter, Rogers Elementary encouraged students and families to “think warm thoughts” at a Family Fun Night Beach Party Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Rogers families brought beach towels and enjoyed sub sandwiches and fun educational activities. School nurse Stacey Tool-Crawford discussed getting enough sleep and fuel for the body, while physical education teacher Donna Appel showed students how to make nylon racquets, balls and Frisbees to take home.
