Quinten Woolery and Bennett O’Hare were selected for a Judges’ Choice purple ribbon. This award is given at judges’ discretion. Quinten and Bennett are invited to present their project at the Iowa Technology and Education Connection in October.
Nineteen Miller Middle School students participated in the Central Iowa Student Technology Fair at Iowa State University Tuesday, April 1, earning numerous honors.
The students, all part of the Extended Learning Program, were among 200 students representing more than 15 schools in Central Iowa. Students created projects in these areas: 3-D Rendering/Non-linear Animation, Graphics/Publishing, Innovative Technology Use, Mobile Apps, Music and Sound Design, Programming, Video or Linear Presentation (includes animation), and Web Presence. Students gave a 10-minute presentation to the judges about their learning.
