Miller Middle School concert and jazz bands competed at two contests recently, bringing home Division I ratings from each.
On Saturday, April 20, Miller concert and jazz bands competed against 10 schools at SCIBA Large Group Contest in Waukee. Each band received a Division I rating.
On Saturday, April 27, the 7-8 concert band competed against 27 schools at the Drake Festival of Bands at Adventureland, where they also came away with a Division I rating.
